Dear visitors, dear exhibitors, dear media representatives:
As a trade fair organisation and organiser of gamescom it is our duty to organise the framework conditions for the trade fair participants as efficiently as possible and to satisfy the needs of our guests. In the present days, the need for safety is a major issue for all parties involved. It is our aim to meet this requirement by adapting the safety measures and at the same time limiting gamescom in all its facets as little as possible.
We hope for your understanding and for your support so that gamescom can also be a successful 360 degree event in 2016 that is full of entertainment and a fantastic joint experience for all participants.
Due to the terrible incidents of the past weeks, the safety and preventions measures at gamescom 2016 have been adapted. The measures apply for all participants of gamescom: Exhibitors, visitors and media representatives.

Please tell us a bit about yourself: How did you get into cosplaying and when did you start?
I guess you could say I have always been a cosplayer at heart, as Hallowe’en was my favorite time of year growing up and I often made my own costumes and props as a way of bringing my favorite characters to life. I attended my first actual cosplay con in 2010 and I have been hooked ever since.
The largest trade fair and event highlight for interactive games has come to an end Sunday night – time to look back on four spectacular days with you.
And once again gamescom, with this year’s guiding theme “Ready to play – discover new worlds”, proved to be much more than just a simple trade show: it was an incredible event featuring interactive entertainment. And the community was so thrilled about it that all available day tickets were already sold out two weeks before gamescom started.
