„Ready to play – discover new worlds“ – the motto of this year’s gamescom applies also and especially to the extensive event program, that makes it the largest trade fair and event for fans of interactive games: be it the spectacular novelties in the event level, the gamescom campus in hall 10.2, the beach feeling in the outdoor area, fascinating worlds in cosplay village or live music at the gamescom festival. Action for everyone in hall 10.2: the event level
It is the hotspot for events and perfect place to go for families in hall 10.2. Funsport, action and chill-out: At the PlayStaton 4 COS Cup skateboarders meet for the third stop of the official German skateboarding championship and show high-class performances in the category Street.

Let’s Plays are his great passion: Always the camera handy Let’s Player Dner gets his fans for quite a while now. With over 900,000 subscribers and over 130 million video views Dner was able to turn his hobby into a job. Currently his YouTube channel offers Let’s Plays of Minecraft, GTA Online and much more.

This year, with the partner being the Nordic region, it will even be five: Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden joined forces and set up the Nordic Game Institute (NGI) to showcase at gamescom why they are wildly successful in the gaming scene.  With more than 700 companies, over 7,000 employees and an annual revenue of more than 1.5 billion EUR in 2013, the gaming industry is the fastest growing industry in the Nordic region.
